Groupon is featuring this American Apparel deal across every city across Canada. They offered a similar national deal across the US a couple weeks ago and they sold a ton of vouchers. This is a very good deal to a very popular and well recognized international business. It’s too bad I don’t really like American Apparel’s clothes or I would be all over this deal. When you’re buying the deal, you’ll have to pick the in-store or online voucher.

This is a limited 1-day only sale that will expire tonight at midnight (Monday, December 13, 2010). Click here to buy now or for more information about the deal. Quantities are limited so don’t miss out!

Today’s Groupon for current fashions at American Apparel. Choose between two options:

For $25, you get $50 worth of in-store merchandise at retail locations throughout Canada.
For $25, you get $50 worth of online merchandise.
An American-named outfittery founded by a native Montrealer, American Apparel provides customers with an eclectic lineup of prêt-a-porter possibilities constructed to complement the carcasses of average clothes-wearing humans. Cram your closet with the company’s seasonless staples, such as a unisex long-sleeve jersey T-shirt ($23), to ensure an ample supply of comfortable classics that will remain fashionable long after closets themselves have been replaced by hydraulic pants-compression chambers. Fashionable femmes can find familiar pieces recast in new fabrics and colors with an assortment of new knitwear, such as a unisex knit cardigan ($74) and basic T-shirts ($14 and up) provide both guys and dolls with versatile torso packaging. Wool peacoats ($195) and polar fleece pullover hoodies ($55) serve as flattering flesh protectors during long summer staring contests with obstinate air conditioners.

American Apparel pumps out its stylish stock from a seven-story factory sprouting from the fertile earth of Los Angeles, California. An employer of over 1,000 Canadians, the company credits Canadian principles of fairness for inspiring its socially responsible, vertically integrated production model and its systematic aversion to waste, which allows American Apparel to staff its facility with highly paid, smile-wearing workers while keeping its prices low and its environmental impact to a minimum.

SPC Card Canada: Now get 15% Off at the Gap and Banana Republic

If you have a Student Price Card (SPC Card), you’ll be happy to hear that the GAP and BANANA REPUBLIC will now accept the SPC Card! You’ll save 15% Off on all regular priced items. I read about this on the SPC Card Facebook page. They are going to officially announce the new partnership tomorrow.

This is a pretty sweet deal and I’m a little surprised it took GAP and BANANA REPUBLIC this long to become a member. It seems like 90% of all the stores at the Malls accept the SPC Card.

McDonald’s Canada: Buy a $10/$20 Gift Card, Get a Free Pop & Wrap / Big Mac (Until Dec 26)

I ate at the McDonald’s by my house this weekend and they have a pretty sweet Gift Card promotion right now until December 26, 2010.

If you buy a $10 McDonalds Gift Card, you’ll get a coupon for a Free Pop and Sandwich Wrap.

If you buy a $20 McDonalds Gift Card, you’ll get a coupon for a Free Pop and Big Mac.

Since I was going to order 3 combo’s (not all for me), I bought the $20 Gift Card, then used the free coupon right away and got a free pop and Big Mac! It ended up saving me around $5-7. With the way that the gift card promotion is structured, you would be silly to not buy the gift card the next time you eat at McDonalds. Apparently, the promotion is avaiable at all McDonald’s Restaurants in BC, AB, SK and MB.

I can’t seem to find an image about it on the internet or anything about it on McDonald’s website, but there’s a long discussion about it on RedFlagDeals.

RW&CO Canada: Get $20 Off $75 Purchase Coupon (Until Dec 23)

RW&CO is one of my favorite stores at the Mall. They have a pretty sweet sale right now. Enjoy $20 off a minimum $75 purchase (before taxes). The sale is available now and goes until December 23, 2010. I’m not sure if you need to print out the coupon to take advantage of this deal or if it’s available to everyone shopping at the store. Just to be safe, you should probably print and bring it with you just in case.

Today only (December 12, 2010), as part of Starbucks “12 Days of Sharing” promotion, you can get a 12-oz Holiday Boxed Mug for only $6.99. It normally retails for $9.95. It would make a wonderful gift – and no wrapping required. Quantities are limited and valid at participating stores.

Today is the last day of Starbucks “12 Days of Sharing” promotion. Today’s deal is decent, but I thought they would have offered something more incredible and end the promo on a strong note.

The Bay Canada: Receive a $25 Savings Card when you spend $75 or more (Dec 10-12 Only)

If you shop at The Bay this weekend (Friday, December 10 to Sunday, December 12, 2010) and spend $75 or more before taxes, you’ll receive a Free $25 Savings Card. The $25 Savings Card is then redeemable at The Bay on any future purchase of $100 or more (before taxes) until December 31, 2010.

This is a decent deal. I just don’t like how you have to purchase at least another $100 worth of stuff in order to use the $25 Savings Card. The Bay had a similar promotion last month (Nov 27-28).

Wow! How stupid is this! Starbucks has the same deal for Canadians and Americans today. However, the Canadian offer is only 25% Off, while the US offer is 50% Off! How is that fair? Just because of that, I’m going to pass on today’s deal. Shame on you Starbucks. Tim Hortons > Starbucks.
